Under the leadership of Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust’s National President, Peeyush Pandit, the initiative focuses on training regular school teachers to better address the unique needs of differently-abled children. The Miles Ahead Project also seeks to establish foundational courses tailored specifically to this demographic. To achieve this vision, the project has already partnered with over 300 rehabilitation experts across the country. Discussions are underway with the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to secure further support and implement teacher training programs at a national scale.

The Trust proposes that each primary school employ at least one teacher dedicated to supporting differently-abled students. Should the government endorse this plan, the Miles Ahead Project will organize in-school training programs for both regular and special education teachers, ensuring they are equipped with the latest methodologies and tools.
The initiative is bolstered by cutting-edge research conducted at the Miles Ahead Center in E Village. The center recently completed a pilot study involving 50 differently-abled children, utilizing advanced educational techniques to refine the project’s framework. This research serves as the foundation for the large-scale rollout of the initiative.

The Miles Ahead School in E Village will open its doors to 100 differently-abled students in 2025, offering state-of-the-art facilities and personalized educational support.
