In a heartfelt initiative to honor motherhood and promote environmental conservation, Peeyush Pandit, the visionary founder of E Village – the World’s First Smart Metro Village, is spearheading a unique campaign titled “एक नहीं, अनेक पेड़ – माँ के नाम”.
This noble campaign began on World Environment Day, June 5, 2024, and encourages citizens across the country to plant trees in the name of their mothers — symbolizing love, gratitude, and respect for both their mothers and Mother Earth. Through this act, the initiative aims to foster a deep emotional connection with nature and instill a sense of responsibility toward the planet.
Taking the movement forward, on August 6, 2025, 500 trees will be planted at James International School campus, E Village, in collaboration with the Forest Department of Uttar Pradesh. This event aligns with the vision of “Swachh Kunda, Harit Kunda”, reinforcing the message of clean and green surroundings for a better tomorrow.
Speaking about the campaign, Peeyush Pandit said:
“This is not just a plantation drive – it is a movement to emotionally and environmentally reconnect with our roots. By dedicating a tree to our mothers, we’re nurturing both life and legacy. These 500 trees will not only beautify E Village but also become a living tribute to the values our mothers instilled in us.”
The plantation program is part of a broader mission to combat land degradation and promote ecological restoration. It further supports India’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Climate Action, Life on Land, and Sustainable Communities.
The initiative is expected to inspire communities, schools, and organizations across India and abroad to adopt similar eco-emotional campaigns, transforming individual actions into collective impact.

Join us in making E Village greener and greater – one tree at a time, one mother at a time.
